National Presbyterian Youth Connection

A special invitation for the youth of the Presbytery of Carlisle…from Carlisle Presbytery Youth Council

Yes, we have a Youth Council! This group of youth and adults exists to connect the churches of our presbytery through youth ministry! Here are some of the things we’ve done over the years:

  •   sponsored an annual Souper Bowl party in January or February
  •   sponsored youth mission day on Good Friday the past few years
  •   sent delegations and/or provided funding of youth and adults to national youth events like Triennium, Connection, Montreat, and 3-D
  •   sponsored worship and creativity days for youth of the presbytery at Camp Hebron and elsewhere
  •   sponsored a concert featuring Christian singer songwriter David Bailey
  •   sponsored a mission trip to a Heifer Project farm in Rutland, Massachusetts
  •   led workshops for youth leaders at Saturday Seminar and Volunteer Educator Training
Please come to our next meeting on May 7 from 2 - 4 p.m. at Pine Street Presbyterian Church, Boyd building. Our meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month from 2 - 4 p.m. The council is a place for youth to experience who and whose they are and to lead.  All churches whether they have a youth group or not are welcome to send youth and adult delegates.  If your church can't have the same delegate all the time, find people willing to take turns.  Serve the Lord partnering with other youth and adults to make youth ministry strong within and beyond the bounds of Carlisle Presbytery!
